Measure wrapped stairs for carpet

  1. To ensure a successful stair carpet installation, begin by measuring your stairs accurately.
  2. Measure from the wall to the edge of the stair and add 2 inches to that measurement.
  3. Next, measure from the bottom of the stair up and over the nose to the next bottom of the stair, adding another 2 inches.
  4. Count the total number of stairs you have. For example, you might have a measurement of 46 by 22 for 12 wrapped stairs.
  5. Once you have the width, length, and total number of wrapped stairs, send this information to us.
  6. We will provide you with essential carpet installation tips and advise you on the amount of carpet you should purchase.
